Thank you! And I must say that my specialism is hard to pin down! I'm interested in and will research pretty much any aspect of language and history, but with a heavy weight of preference towards the ancient and the medieval. Going off my academic life, my specialism is the Indo-European language family, and within that more specifically Latin and Old Irish.
A man after my own heart! I, too, have always been fascinated with the ancient world, especially the Late Bronze Age, and early medieval times. I’m ethnically Welsh, so the British Isles are especially interesting.

I don't think Sudan has the oldest pyramids, though it certainly has the most pyramids.
Intended to be read as "... the most [ancient pyramids]...", as opposed to "... the [most ancient] pyramids...".
